About Me
Dr. David Simons is an ophthalmologist who practices comprehensive eye care with additional fellowship training in the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma. He is dedicated to preserving and restoring vision, having been inspired by a family member's experience with blindness. Dr. Simons provides education about eye conditions and treatment options, empowering patients to make informed decisions about their care.
He completed his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine and his ophthalmology residency at Casey Eye Institute. He then pursued a glaucoma fellowship at Devers Eye Institute. During his training, he received several research awards, including the prestigious Heed Fellowship, and holds two patents for ophthalmic medical devices.
