Dr. Zakary Hoffelt

Dr. Zakary Hoffelt is an ophthalmologist who specializes in glaucoma care. He treats all adult forms of glaucoma, both surgically and medically, and is skilled in cataract surgery and a broad range of laser procedures. He focuses on building long-term relationships with patients and using his technical expertise to improve their vision and quality of life.

Dr. Hoffelt is board-certified in ophthalmology. He completed medical school at the University of South Dakota, followed by an internship and residency at the University of Missouri Hospital, and a glaucoma fellowship at Devers Eye Institute in Portland. He joined the Kaiser Permanente Northwest medical group in 2009 and practices primarily at the Salmon Creek Medical Office in Vancouver, Washington, and the Clackamas medical office.

Originally from Brookings, South Dakota, Dr. Hoffelt developed a passion for eye care during college. He moved to Portland in 2008 and now calls the Pacific Northwest home.
