About Me
Dr. David K. Lee is a board-certified ophthalmologist, cataract surgeon, and glaucoma specialist at The Eye Professionals. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Michigan, followed by a Master's in Biomedical Science from Rutgers-Graduate School of Biomedical Science. He earned his medical degree from Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School, then completed an ophthalmology residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He further advanced his training with a clinical glaucoma fellowship at the University of Wisconsin.
Dr. Lee specializes in both routine and complex cataract surgery, as well as the medical, laser, and surgical treatment of glaucoma. He has a particular focus on cataract surgery and the use of premium intraocular lens implants, including toric and multifocal lenses. For glaucoma, he utilizes the latest technologies, including laser treatments and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). Dr. Lee has been honored with the NJ Top Docs Award (2022-2025) and is a board-certified diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology, a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
