Dr. Ralph Del Negro

Dr. Ralph G. Del Negro is a board-certified eye physician and surgeon and a glaucoma specialist. As the managing partner of Del Negro & Senft Eye Associates, he has provided compassionate care since 1992, with a focus on affording his patients their best vision. He has extensive experience in advanced diagnostic and microsurgical techniques, offering state-of-the-art treatment options. Most recently, he introduced the RxSight Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) to cataract patients in Monmouth and Ocean counties, improving their quality of vision.

Dr. Del Negro completed his undergraduate studies at Lafayette College and earned his medical degree at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey – School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at Ohio University – Grandview Hospital and a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Louisville. Currently, he serves as chief of ophthalmology at Hackensack Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center and vice chair of ophthalmology at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.
