Dr. David Mcclure

Dr. David C. McClure is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist. He currently serves as a Clinician Physician at the University of Virginia School of Medicine Department of Ophthalmology. Dr. McClure provides comprehensive eye care, including the diagnosis and management of a wide range of eye conditions, from routine needs to complex medical and surgical diseases.

Dr. McClure completed his residency in ophthalmology at Louisiana State University Eye Center and the University of Arizona. He earned his medical degree from West Virginia University and holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Emory University. He has been practicing ophthalmology since 1980 and previously served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the WVU Department of Ophthalmology.
