Dr. Edgar Gamponia

Dr. Edgar Gamponia is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care. He completed his medical training at West Virginia University Medical School, an internship at Washington University in St. Louis, and an ophthalmology residency at West Virginia University. A diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology, he is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Refractive Surgeons.

Dr. Gamponia treats a broad spectrum of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, and refractive errors. He performs a variety of surgical procedures such as cataract surgery, LASIK and other refractive surgeries, glaucoma surgery, oculoplastic surgery, eyelid surgery, retinal laser surgery, and cosmetic eye procedures. He has been with Regional Eye Associates since 1997, serving patients at locations in West Virginia and Maryland.
