Dr. David Herman

Dr. David Herman is an ophthalmologist at Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic 2nd Street (Building C) in Duluth, Minnesota. He provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care for a wide range of conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, corneal diseases, dry eyes, blepharitis, uveitis, and various eye infections. He also treats eyelid disorders, tear duct blockages, and visual field defects.

Dr. Herman completed his medical degree and residency in ophthalmology at Mayo School of Health Sciences in Rochester, Minnesota, and pursued a fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. With extensive training, he manages both common and complex eye conditions to help patients preserve their vision.
