Dr. David Auerbach

Dr. David B. Auerbach is an ophthalmologist at Eye Physicians of Central Florida, where he has been providing care since 2001. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology and holds the distinction of being an Osteopathic Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Auerbach is also a clinical faculty member at the University of Central Florida, where he contributes to the education of future eye care professionals.

Dr. Auerbach's practice encompasses comprehensive ophthalmology, with particular expertise in neuro-ophthalmology and oculoplastic surgery. He completed a fellowship in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery at The Pavilions of Voorhees in New Jersey and a second fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. His residency in ophthalmology was completed at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, following an internship at Mount Clemens General Hospital and medical school at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Auerbach provides a full spectrum of eye care, including routine eye exams for conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration, as well as surgical treatments. He performs small-incision and refractive cataract surgery, cosmetic and reconstructive eyelid surgery, and addresses adult lacrimal system disorders. Dr. Auerbach also specializes in neuro-ophthalmic conditions, including transient visual loss, visual field loss, visual disturbances, and diplopia (double vision). He offers YAG laser procedures and provides consultations for thyroid eye disease, including Tepezza treatment.
