Dr. David Palay

Dr. David A. Palay is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been practicing in Atlanta since 1992. He specializes in cataract surgery and is a nationally recognized expert in corneal disease, providing care for patients with complex corneal conditions.

Dr. Palay completed his medical education and residency at Emory University and pursued a fellowship in corneal surgery at the University of Iowa. He served as a full-time faculty member at the Emory Eye Center before entering private practice, bringing extensive academic and clinical experience to his patient care.

He has authored major textbooks in ophthalmology, including the widely respected Cornea Color Atlas, and has been recognized multiple times as one of the best ophthalmologists in Atlanta and nationally for his dedication to the field.
