About Me
Dr. Heather Weissman is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery, cornea care, and refractive procedures. She treats patients with a focus on clear vision, eye comfort, and long-term corneal health, offering both surgical and medical options tailored to each person’s goals.
Dr. Weissman completed her undergraduate education at the University of Georgia and earned her medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia. She completed internship and residency training in ophthalmology at Emory University in Atlanta, followed by a fellowship in Cornea, Anterior Segment and Refractive Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. Her clinical interests include advanced corneal transplantation, corneal collagen crosslinking, and laser vision correction.
She has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Atlanta Magazine and Castle Connolly and serves in leadership and advisory roles within Georgia ophthalmology organizations.
