Dr. Meghal Gagrani is a pediatric ophthalmologist at the UPMC Vision Institute, caring for children across Lawrenceville, Bridgeville, and Wexford. Dr. Preeti Patil is a pediatric ophthalmologist and pediatric neuro-ophthalmologist who cares for children with visual pathway and eye movement disorders. She combines meticulous examinations with a warm, family-centered style, working closely with parents and therapists to support visual development at home and school. Her clinics include dedicated time for complex conditions, and she coordinates medical, optical, and surgical care when needed. Dr. Patil serves on the faculty at the University of Pittsburgh. Her clinical and research interests include cortical visual impairment in children, idiopathic intracranial hypertension, and the full spectrum of nystagmus—its causes, genetics, and medical or surgical management. She completed fellowship training at the Shiley Eye Institute and at Sankara Nethralaya, ophthalmology residency at Sankara Nethralaya, and earned her MD from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. She welcomes referrals for pediatric neuro-ophthalmology and nystagmus evaluations in Pittsburgh.
