About Me
Danielle Sarlo, DO, is a pediatric ophthalmologist at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia who cares for children with eye misalignment, visual development concerns, tearing problems, and other childhood eye conditions. She provides family-centered evaluations and treatment plans that may include glasses, patching, in-office procedures, or surgery when needed. Dr. Sarlo completed ophthalmology residency with Ascension in Michigan and advanced fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology at CHOP. Board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, she works closely with orthoptists and pediatric specialists to tailor care to each child’s needs and to help parents understand every step. Her clinical interests include strabismus, amblyopia, pediatric cataracts, and eyelid disorders that affect vision. She enjoys partnering with families to support healthy visual development and long-term outcomes.
