Meet Dr. Daniel Brocks
About Me
Dr. Daniel Brocks is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who specializes in corneal and external diseases, with a particular focus on ocular surface disorders and dry eye disease. He is known for his patient-centered approach, treating each individual with the care and dedication he would extend to a dear friend or family member. Dr. Brocks has extensive experience in managing complex corneal conditions, including infectious keratitis, corneal ectasia, and autoimmune-related corneal disorders.
With a fellowship in cornea and external disease at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Brocks brings advanced expertise in both medical and surgical treatments of the cornea. He is particularly skilled in addressing dry eye disease associated with autoimmune conditions such as Sjögren’s syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, and graft-versus-host disease. His clinical practice is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients with challenging ocular surface diseases, aiming to improve their quality of life through personalized treatment plans.
Prior to joining BostonSight as Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Brocks served as President of Hudson Valley Eye Surgeons and Director of Ophthalmology at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He founded The Dry Eye Center at Hudson Valley Eye Surgeons, demonstrating his commitment to advancing the treatment of dry eye disease. Dr. Brocks’s approach combines cutting-edge medical knowledge with a compassionate, team-based care model to achieve the best possible outcomes for his patients.
