Meet Dr. Dana Wallace
About Me
Dr. Dana Wallace is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract diagnosis and surgery, including both traditional and laser-assisted techniques with advanced intraocular lenses. She is also a glaucoma specialist, offering minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries such as the iStent infinite, Hydrus Microstent, OMNI Surgical System, iDose TR implant, XEN GEL stent, glaucoma tube shunts, and laser treatments.
Dr. Wallace earned her medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine, where she received the Dean’s Recognition Award. She completed a clinical research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, an internal medicine internship at Carolinas Medical Center, an ophthalmology residency at Duke University Medical Center, and a glaucoma fellowship at the Duke University Eye Center.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Wallace enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young children.
