Dr. Dan Yin

Dr. Dan Yin is an ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon who provides advanced diagnosis, treatment, and surgical correction of eye disease. She performs premium femtosecond laser cataract surgery and helps patients consider options such as multifocal and toric intraocular lenses based on their vision needs. She also offers LASIK and PRK laser vision correction and evaluates urgent eye problems, glaucoma, dry eye disease, and disorders of the eyelids, cornea, conjunctiva, and retina, including laser treatment when appropriate. In addition, she has a special interest in ocular cosmetic enhancement, including Botox, fillers, and blepharoplasty.

Dr. Yin completed undergraduate training in computer science at the University of Maryland and earned a master’s degree from Georgetown University. She received her medical degree from New York Medical College and completed ophthalmology residency training at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. She has been active in research and scholarly work, including early research at the NIH and publications related to cataract surgery, ocular inflammation, and corneal and conjunctival disease.
