About Me
Dr. Cynthia Beauchamp is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus. She provides comprehensive eye care for children and adults, with a focus on conditions such as misaligned eyes (strabismus), lazy eye (amblyopia), and pediatric cataracts. Dr. Beauchamp joined Pediatric Ophthalmology, PA and the Center for Adult Strabismus in 2008 after completing advanced fellowship training at the University of Texas Southwestern and Children’s Medical Center of Dallas.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Beauchamp serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern, where she teaches and gives an annual ethics lecture. She has been recognized multiple times as one of the Best Pediatric Specialists by D Magazine. Dr. Beauchamp is actively involved in professional organizations, including the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, and has contributed to research with numerous publications and a book chapter on eye muscle surgery.
