About Me
Dr. Prashanthi Giridhar is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus. She completed fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at Children's Medical Center in Dallas following her residency at Texas Tech where she served as chief resident. Her clinical focus includes the diagnosis and treatment of children's eye disorders such as amblyopia, congenital and juvenile cataracts, refractive errors, and strabismus.
Dr. Giridhar is actively involved in clinical research and has authored several articles in the field. She is a member of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus as well as the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Her background in biomedical engineering informs her approach to patient care and research.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Giridhar enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
