About Me
Dr. Craig Sklar is a specialist in diseases and surgery of the retina and vitreous. He provides care for patients with retinal and vitreous conditions, offering both medical and surgical treatment options.
Dr. Sklar completed his undergraduate degree at Haverford College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at Yale University School of Medicine and pursued advanced fellowship training in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery at Harvard University, the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, and the Joslin Clinic. Dr. Sklar is an Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Yale University School of Medicine.
Dr. Sklar has been recognized as one of the Best Doctors in America for over 10 years and has received recognition from the New York Eye Bank for his work in establishing an eye donation program. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists.
