About Me
Dr. Christopher Pappa is an ophthalmologist who cares for adults seeking clear, comfortable vision and long-term eye health. A lifelong Ohioan, he provides comprehensive evaluations and individualized treatment plans for common and complex conditions, with a particular interest in cataract and glaucoma care. Patients value his calm, down-to-earth style and the time he takes to explain findings and options in plain language.
At Columbus Ophthalmology Associates, Dr. Pappa offers the full spectrum of clinic and surgical services available through a modern, team-based practice. He collaborates closely with optometrists and fellow surgeons to match each patient’s goals—whether that’s safer driving at night, reducing glare, or lowering eye pressure to protect the optic nerve. His training includes residency in ophthalmology at The Ohio State University and a glaucoma fellowship at the Cincinnati Eye Institute, experience that informs thoughtful decision-making for both medical and surgical care. Outside the operating room, he enjoys serving the central Ohio community he calls home.
