Dr. Christopher Rodriguez is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Ennen Eye Center. He joined the practice after proudly serving eight years in the US Air Force, during which he completed multiple foreign tours. Dr. Rodriguez is the proud recipient of an Air Force Meritorious Service Medal and an Air Force Achievement Medal.

A native Arkansan, Dr. Rodriguez grew up in Jacksonville and graduated valedictorian from Jacksonville High School. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Biology with Summa Cum Laude honors from the University of Central Arkansas Honors College in 2007. He then earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, graduating with the distinguished Robert Key Award for the highest cumulative GPA in his class of 2012. He completed his ophthalmology residency in 2016 at the nation's premier military medical education center in San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Rodriguez spent four years as Chief of the Ophthalmology Department at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, where he gained extensive experience performing PRK, LASIK, and ICL refractive surgery on service members. He further specializes in sutureless, laser cataract surgery with advanced technology for astigmatism and presbyopia, and has a particular interest in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Christian Ophthalmology Society, Society of Military Ophthalmologists, and Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Rodriguez is conversational in Spanish and enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, outdoor activities, exercise, and being active in his church.
