Dr. Christopher Pesavento

Dr. Christopher Pesavento is a comprehensive ophthalmologist specializing in cataract and laser vision correction surgery. He earned his medical degree from Indiana University and completed his internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, followed by an ophthalmology residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. During his residency, he served as Chief Resident at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Hospital and performed rotations at the National Naval Medical Center.

Dr. Pesavento is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has participated in medical mission trips providing cataract surgery to underserved populations in Peru. Dr. Pesavento founded Southside Center for Sight in 2007 and has performed thousands of microsurgical and laser eye procedures.
