About Me
Chloe Tze Ling Khoo, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon. She specializes in the medical and surgical care of conditions affecting the retina, macula, and vitreous, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, complex retinal detachments, macular hole and pucker, retinal vascular diseases, uveitis, and complications of anterior segment surgery. She combines advanced techniques with clear communication so patients understand their diagnosis and options.
Dr. Khoo earned her medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, completed an ophthalmology residency at The George Washington University—serving as chief resident—and finished a two-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at Cincinnati Eye Institute. She also completed a dedicated year of ocular oncology research at Wills Eye Hospital. She is committed to teaching and clinical research and strives to deliver compassionate, detail-oriented care that supports each patient’s goals.
