About Me
Dr. Charlene Grice is a board-certified ophthalmologist and ophthalmic surgeon who specializes in corneal disease, ocular surface disease, and cataract surgery. She provides care at Carolina Cataract & Laser Center, seeing patients at the Mt. Pleasant and Ladson clinics. Dr. Grice is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is an active member of the Cornea Society.
Dr. Grice earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed her residency at MUSC's Storm Eye Institute, followed by a fellowship in cornea and external disease at Eye Consultants of Atlanta. She has also contributed to academic medicine as a clinical professor and cornea fellowship director at MUSC Storm Eye Institute, where she received the Pierre Gautier Jenkins Teacher of the Year award.
With a compassionate approach, Dr. Grice is dedicated to providing exceptional eye care and advancing the field of ophthalmology.
