Dr. Bryce Chiang

Bryce Chiang, MD, PhD, is a glaucoma specialist at the Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins Medicine. He cares for adults with glaucoma and cataracts, offering both medical therapy and surgical options and taking time to align care with each patient’s goals. His background in biomedical engineering informs a careful, data-driven approach to treatment.

Dr. Chiang completed an MD/PhD at Emory University and Georgia Tech, followed by ophthalmology residency and glaucoma fellowship at the Byers Eye Institute at Stanford University, where he also pursued an innovation fellowship. His research explores targeted ocular drug delivery to the suprachoroidal space and the optic nerve head with the aim of improving outcomes in optic neuropathies.
