Dr. Brian A. Hunter is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract and refractive surgery, dedicated to improving patients' vision through expert care. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, ensuring adherence to the highest medical standards.
His education includes a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Minnesota Medical School, a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in ocular pathology at the University of Utah, Moran Eye Center, and an Ophthalmology residency at the University of Arizona. Dr. Hunter is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona, where he mentors senior residents in surgical and comprehensive ophthalmology.
Dr. Hunter is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. He specializes in customizing visual outcomes to fit patients' refractive needs using the latest technological advancements. His interests include complex cataract surgery, cataract-refractive procedures such as refractive lens exchange, limbal relaxing incisions, toric lenses for astigmatism, and the use of advanced lenses like Crystalens, multifocal lenses, and Symfony lenses.
