Dr. Bernard Milstein

Dr. Milstein is a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist who has specialized in Cataract and Refractive surgery at The Eye Clinic of Texas. He recently limited his practice to LASIK patients and is nationally recognized as a leader in Laser Eye Surgery for the correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.

Dr. Milstein participated in the initial FDA studies to determine the safety and effectiveness of the excimer laser. These trials proved the safety of the excimer laser for treating refractive errors. Because of his involvement, he was one of the first 16 eye surgeons in the United States to perform Laser Eye Surgery using an FDA-approved laser. He has more than 25 years of experience and has performed approximately 20,000 LASIK procedures.
