About Me
Dr. Benjamin Reiss is a board-certified and fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of retinal and macular diseases. He has been providing care for patients in the south Puget Sound area since 2018, offering comprehensive management for vitreoretinal disorders.
Dr. Reiss completed his ophthalmology residency at George Washington University, where he served as chief resident, and a two-year fellowship in vitreoretinal diseases at Cook County Hospital and Retina Associates in Chicago. He earned his medical degree magna cum laude from The Ohio State University, receiving the Watson Achievement Award, and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. His undergraduate degree was completed summa cum laude at the University of Pennsylvania.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Reiss enjoys golf, hiking, and traveling, particularly in Latin America, and he is fluent in Spanish.
