About Me
Dr. Yicheng Chen is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in diseases and surgery of the retina and vitreous. He completed his medical training through the competitive Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology Program and honed his skills during a residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a fellowship at The Retina Institute, one of the country's top programs.
Dr. Chen focuses on diagnosing and treating a range of retinal conditions, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, epiretinal membranes, macular holes, and retinal vascular disorders. He participates in clinical trials and contributes to research, ensuring his patients have access to advanced treatments.
Fluent in Mandarin, Dr. Chen values clear communication and personalized care. Outside the clinic, he enjoys photography, playing guitar, and outdoor activities, which he believes contribute to a balanced and empathetic approach to medicine.
