About Me
Dr. Azra Idrizovic is a fellowship-trained and board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma and complex cataracts. She completed her glaucoma fellowship at the world-renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and is skilled in both traditional and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, as well as the surgical management of complex cataracts. Throughout her training, Dr. Idrizovic was involved in research on glaucoma filtering blebs and patch graft erosion in patients with glaucoma drainage devices, presenting her work at national meetings including the American Glaucoma Society and Association of Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
Dr. Idrizovic is available at Glaucoma Center of Texas locations and is dedicated to providing the best possible care for her patients while remaining involved in innovative research and teaching the next generation of ophthalmologists. She served as chief resident during her senior year of ophthalmology residency at St. John's Episcopal Hospital in New York.
