Dr. Austin Nave

Dr. Austin Nave is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who practices at Baptist Eye Surgeons in Knoxville, Tennessee. A native of East Tennessee, he is deeply passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of his patients. Dr. Nave’s clinical expertise includes the management of cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and various eyelid conditions. He is committed to providing personalized care, ensuring that each patient receives the attention and treatment they need to maintain and improve their vision.

Dr. Nave completed his medical degree at East Tennessee State University’s Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City. He then moved to Birmingham, Alabama, for his internship at Brookwood Baptist Health and his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Callahan Eye Hospital, University of Alabama. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Nave enjoys spending time with his dog Hank, family, and friends. He is an avid hiker and runner, often seen along the river in Downtown Knoxville, and is a dedicated fan of the Tennessee Volunteers. An enthusiastic movie buff, he is known to quote lines from his favorite film series, Star Wars.
