About Me
Dr. Austin Bach is a board-certified ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. He has performed hundreds of eye-muscle surgeries for both children and adults and maintains an active emergency and trauma ophthalmology practice. Dr. Bach earned a BA in Biology from Yeshiva University, a Master of Public Health from Tufts University, and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University. He completed internship and ophthalmology residency at Larkin Community Hospital, followed by fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, where he also served as a clinical instructor.Dr. Bach provides comprehensive care for amblyopia, tear-duct obstruction, pediatric cataracts, ptosis, and complex strabismus, using evidence-based treatments and child-friendly examinations. He enjoys educating families about treatment options and tailoring plans to each child’s needs. In addition to clinical care, he is involved in resident education and community outreach across South Florida.
