About Me
Dr. Arthi Venkat is an ophthalmologist specializing in medical retina and uveitis at the University of Virginia. She serves as an Associate Professor and Residency Program Director in the Department of Ophthalmology. Her clinical practice focuses on the diagnosis and management of complex retinal conditions and inflammatory eye diseases, providing advanced care for patients with vision-threatening conditions.
Dr. Venkat completed her medical retina and uveitis fellowships at the Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute, where she trained in the latest treatments for retinal diseases. She then completed her ophthalmology residency at George Washington University and an internal medicine internship at Washington Hospital Center. Her academic background includes a medical degree and a master's in physiology from Georgetown University.
As a dedicated educator, Dr. Venkat is involved in training the next generation of ophthalmologists. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for a variety of retinal and uveitic conditions.
