Dr. Anthony Economou

Dr. Economou is a fellowship trained glaucoma sub-specialist who has been in practice since 1997. He brings over 25 years of highly specialized experience in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, including both topical and surgical approaches. He offers a range of in-office procedures such as Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT), YAG laser capsulotomy, dry eye punctal plugs, and Durysta injections for intraocular pressure control. For surgical management, he performs the Ahmed valve implant and the OMNI minimally invasive glaucoma procedure (MIGS).

Dr. Economou is committed to patient education and takes time to answer questions, keeping peer-reviewed studies and brochures available. His practice also provides 24/7 access to a registered nurse and medical director, with Dr. Economou personally available by cell phone around the clock.
