Dr. Albert Lin

Dr. Albert L. Lin is a board-certified ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgical specialist who cares for patients with complex retinal and macular disease. He combines advanced surgical care with the latest medical therapies, and he is active in clinically focused research and multi-site clinical trials to help bring new treatments to patients.

A Mississippi native, Dr. Lin earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, and then trained in vitreoretinal surgery at the University of Virginia. He returned to UMMC to practice and teach, and was recognized as the UMMC Ophthalmology Attending of the Year in 2019.
