About Me

Dr. Aisha Hasan is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained cornea specialist. She cares for patients with a full spectrum of corneal and anterior segment conditions, and performs cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, and complex intraocular lens exchange or repositioning. As a clinical assistant professor, she combines an academic approach with compassionate, individualized care so each person understands their diagnosis and options.

Dr. Hasan completed medical school at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, ophthalmology residency at BronxCare Health System—where she served as chief resident—and a cornea fellowship at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital. She enjoys partnering with patients to tailor surgical and non-surgical treatments and has contributed to peer-reviewed research on corneal disease and surgical outcomes.
