Dr. Sona Chaudhry is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at UConn Health who provides medical and surgical eye care for patients across Farmington and West Hartford. She diagnoses and treats a wide range of conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye, blepharitis, corneal and external diseases, and retinal disorders, with an emphasis on education and shared decision-making.Dr. Chaudhry earned her MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, completed an internal medicine internship at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, and finished ophthalmology residency at Boston University Medical Center. She also holds a BS in Biological Resources Engineering from the University of Maryland.
