About Me
Dr. Abraham S. Mitias is a board-certified ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal specialist dedicated to preserving and restoring vision. A native of West Virginia, he earned his M.D.
from West Virginia University and completed ophthalmology residency and vitreoretinal fellowship training at the Kresge Eye Institute at Wayne State University in Detroit. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and provides compassionate, patient-centered care for conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal detachments, vitreous hemorrhages, and macular holes. Dr. Mitias practices at multiple locations throughout West Virginia, including Charleston, Parkersburg, Beckley, and Huntington.
