About Me
Dr. Abha Amin is a board-certified ophthalmologist and the Chief of Complex Anterior Segment Surgery at Westchester Medical Center Health Network. She sees patients for a range of conditions affecting the front of the eye, including cataracts, corneal disease, and glaucoma. Dr. Amin specializes in advanced surgical techniques such as premium lens cataract surgery, secondary intraocular lens placement, anterior segment reconstruction, corneal transplant surgery, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery.
Dr. Amin completed her medical degree at Drexel University and an internship at the University of Pennsylvania. She went on to complete her ophthalmology residency at the University of Rochester, followed by fellowships in cornea and refractive surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and glaucoma at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary at Harvard University. A member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and ASCRS, she has been recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for many years.
