Dr. Aaron Parnes

Dr. Aaron Jacob Parnes is a retina specialist who treats conditions affecting the retina and vitreous. His first exposure to ophthalmology came during medical school, and he was drawn to the field’s combination of careful microsurgery and modern technology—paired with the opportunity to build lasting relationships while working to protect and restore sight.

Dr. Parnes attended Pennsylvania State College of Medicine, completed residency training at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and pursued fellowship training at the Yale Eye Center of Yale University School of Medicine. He has also served as a clinical instructor at Yale Eye Center. His research experience includes work as a clinical investigator in AREDS 2 and studies evaluating Eylea injections for age-related macular degeneration.
