Dr. Zachary Tarter

Dr. Zach Tarter is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers serving patients in Elizabethtown, Louisville, and nearby communities. A Kentucky native, Dr. Tarter graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Human Health Sciences from the University of Kentucky, earned his medical degree with High Distinction from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Kentucky. He joined Bennett & Bloom in 2025 as a surgical and consultative ophthalmologist.
