About Me
Dr. Yonwook Justin Kim is an ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma and cataract surgery. He earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine after graduating with honors in chemistry from the University of Virginia. Dr. Kim completed his ophthalmology residency at Boston Medical Center, where he was selected as chief resident, followed by a glaucoma fellowship at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai.
Dr. Kim's practice focuses on the surgical management of cataracts and glaucoma. He offers advanced cataract surgery options including premium intraocular lenses for astigmatism correction and laser-assisted techniques. For glaucoma patients, he provides both minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and traditional surgical interventions.
He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Glaucoma Society, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Kim enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
