Dr. Winston Chamberlain

Dr. Winston Douglas Chamberlain grew up in Southern California and was inspired to pursue ophthalmology by his father, an internal medicine physician. He views medicine as an ideal way to combine his interest in science with contributing to his community.

Dr. Chamberlain is a cornea, refractive, and anterior segment specialist, focusing on the front anatomy of the eye which plays a critical role in human vision. His practice involves medical and surgical approaches to diseases affecting the ocular surface, cornea, and anterior segment including the iris and lens. He performs cataract surgery, corneal transplant surgery, anterior segment reconstruction after trauma, and iris repair, with extensive experience in refractive surgery techniques.

Dr. Chamberlain enjoys learning from his patients, hearing their stories, and helping restore their vision. He draws strength from his family and in his free time, he enjoys hiking, running, skiing, travelling, and cooking with his family and community of friends.
