Dr. William Williamson

Dr. William Williamson is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Williamson Eye Center in Baton Rouge. He has performed thousands of cataract and refractive surgeries over the past 34 years and serves as the senior ophthalmologist and a founding doctor of the practice.

Dr. Williamson is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Outpatient Ophthalmic Surgery Society. He earned his medical degree from LSU-New Orleans and completed his ophthalmology residency at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans. He provides comprehensive eye care, including treatment for conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye, and diabetic eye disease, and sees patients at the practice's Goodwood Campus in Baton Rouge and at the New Roads Clinic.
