Dr. Blake Williamson

Blake K. Williamson, MD, MPH, MS is an ophthalmologist and the President and Managing Partner of Williamson Eye Center. He focuses on advanced cataract surgery, laser vision correction, and micro-invasive glaucoma procedures, helping patients choose the approach that best fits their lifestyle and vision goals.

Dr. Williamson completed medical school at LSU Health Sciences Center and ophthalmology residency training at Tulane University. He also earned master’s degrees from Columbia University (MS) and Johns Hopkins Medical Center (MPH). In addition to clinical care, he has a strong interest in innovation and education and has been recognized at the Tulane O’Brien Research Symposium for work related to microscopic glaucoma devices and corneal degeneration. He also participates in global outreach as a Unite for Sight Global Impact Fellow and has served on surgical missions on multiple continents.
