About Me
Dr. Will Griffeth is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care, cataract surgery, and refractive surgery. He takes a detail-oriented approach, considering each patient's lifestyle to determine the best treatment plan. Dr. Griffeth finds great reward in helping patients achieve better vision, particularly through cataract and refractive surgeries that can bring quick and dramatic improvements in quality of life.
Dr. Griffeth completed his undergraduate degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Princeton University and earned his medical degree from Mercer University of Medicine. He then gained valuable experience through an internship at Carilion Clinic and a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Florida. His training and background have equipped him to serve a wide range of vision care needs.
Outside of the office, Dr. Griffeth is an avid outdoorsman and pilot. He has competed internationally in sprint kayaking and has served as a medical volunteer in remote regions including the Amazon, Central America, and Ethiopia. These experiences contribute to his compassionate and global perspective in patient care.
