Dr. Whitney Marlow

Dr. Whitney Marlow is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon dedicated to patient-centered care in southern Illinois. She graduated magna cum laude from Illinois Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science in biology and a minor in psychology, then earned her medical degree at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. After an internal medicine internship at Memorial Medical Center and HSHS St. John’s Hospital, Dr. Marlow completed her ophthalmology residency at Saint Louis University, serving as Chief Resident and receiving the S. Harrison Jerrold Award for Outstanding Resident. Board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, she manages a wide range of eye conditions with a particular focus on cataract surgery. Dr. Marlow is passionate about tailoring surgical plans to each patient’s vision goals and lifestyle and welcomes individuals seeking thoughtful guidance on treatment options, from evaluation through postoperative care.
