Dr. Wen Hu

Wen F. Hu, MD, PhD, is a uveitis specialist who provides expert medical and surgical care for inflammatory and infectious eye disease. She treats uveitis across all anatomic types and performs routine and complex cataract surgery, with special attention to optimizing outcomes in uveitic eyes. Patients value her collaborative approach and clear coordination with other specialists.

Dr. Hu completed ophthalmology residency at Massachusetts Eye and Ear and a uveitis fellowship at the John A. Moran Eye Center through a Heed Ophthalmic Foundation fellowship. She holds an MD and a PhD in Neuroscience from Harvard and completed undergraduate training at Yale. Her practice includes immunomodulatory therapy, steroid-sparing strategies, and comprehensive perioperative planning for complex cases.
