About Me
Dr. Walid Sabbah is an ophthalmologist specializing in cornea and refractive surgery, cataract surgery, and anterior segment procedures. He provides advanced care for patients with corneal diseases, refractive errors, and cataracts, helping to improve vision through surgical and non-surgical treatments. His focus on the anterior segment of the eye ensures comprehensive management of conditions affecting the cornea and lens.
He completed his medical education at Alexandria University and his ophthalmology residency at Alexandria University Hospitals. Dr. Sabbah is further enhancing his expertise through a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Boston Vision, beginning in 2025. This training allows him to offer the latest techniques in vision correction and corneal surgery.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Sabbah is actively involved in research, holding a Master’s degree in Visual Science with a focus on corneal diseases and keratoconus. He is currently a PhD candidate in corneal surgery, demonstrating his commitment to advancing ophthalmic knowledge. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, a recognition of his professional excellence.
