Dr. Wade Reardon

Dr. Wade A. Reardon is a native of South Carolina, born and raised in Kingstree. He pursued his undergraduate studies at the College of Charleston Honors College and furthered his education with medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina. His international experience includes studying in Costa Rica, where he became fluent in Spanish. Dr. Reardon and his wife are proud parents of four daughters and have made Greenville their home.

As an ophthalmologist, Dr. Reardon specializes in advanced cataract surgery, utilizing toric, extended depth of focus, multi-focal, and trifocal intraocular lenses, and performs limbal relaxing incisions for astigmatism. He also excels in refractive lens surgery, including refractive lens exchange and EVO ICL, and provides treatment for conditions such as blepharospasm and diabetic retinopathy. His commitment to cutting-edge techniques ensures that patients receive personalized and effective eye care.

Dr. Reardon completed his ophthalmology training at the MUSC Storm Eye Institute and is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. His dedication to humanitarian efforts is evidenced by his participation in medical missions to Africa and his role as a board member for the Cutting Edge Foundation. Additionally, he is a recipient of the Gold Humanism Honor Society award, reflecting his compassionate patient care.
