Dr. Kurt Heitman

Dr. Kurt F. Heitman is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Southern Eye Associates in Greenville, South Carolina. He provides comprehensive eye care with special expertise in dry eye treatment and nutritional strategies for eye health.

After completing his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Dr. Heitman was board certified in ophthalmology. He has served as President of the South Carolina Society of Ophthalmology and as a councilor for the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Heitman also founded Surgeons for Sight and has participated in medical missions to Ecuador, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic.
