Dr. W Knauer

Dr. William Knauer III has been practicing ophthalmology in Jacksonville for over 42 years, following a family tradition of eye care. He earned his medical degree from the Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 1979 and completed his residency at Bowman Gray School of Medicine.

He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a fellow of Baylor College of Medicine. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles in the ophthalmic community, including President of the Florida Society of Ophthalmology and Chief of Staff at St. Vincent's Hospital. Dr. Knauer cherishes the opportunity to serve the community and restore and protect sight.
